Course Objectives
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students will be able to evaluate and interpret the datas related to the executive-legislative-juridical institutions of the EU
  • Students will be able to compare how the executive-legislative-juridical institutions of the EU and nation-states work.
  • Students will be able to compare how the institutions of EU and regular international organizations such as UN and NATO work.
  • Students will be able to determine to what extent the process of EU is democratic.
  • Students will be able to identify the developments of EU institutions in a historical perspective.
  • Students will be able to identify the needs and problems of the institutions of the EU regarding the enlargement of the Union.
  • Students will be able to identify the functions of the institutions of the EU in diverse fields such as agriculture, budget and foreign policy.
